Help Needed: Plug And Play Software Device Enumerator gone!!!

Guest

I recently bought a digital camera and when I tried saving pictures to my
computer
through a USB port my pc rebooted. When I logged in again, sound, DVD drives
are gone.

I checked hardware manager and found out that the Plug And Play Software
Device Enumerator is corrupted with a yellow ! on it and the status is:

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be
corrupted or missing. (Code 39).

What can I do to fix this?
Is i okay to uninstall and reinstall driver through internet (since I can't
use my cd drives).

Please advice....

thanks...
