Plug and Play Problem

I'm a computer novice and require help. Just purchased a Logitech USB Desktop
Microphone and can't get XP to locate and load any drivers via the plug and
play function.

When the device is plugged in, XP states that a new device has been found
and the New Hardware Wizard appears. The wizard attempts to load the
appropriate driver but then asks for a CD - the item doesn't come with a CD.
After all this, the wizard states that the attempt to load the device has
been unsuccessful.

I have Windows XP with SP2 installed.

This group is for WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) questions, so you
might get better help from a hardware group or a Logitech support forum.

It seems unusual that the microphone didn't come with a drivers disc. Maybe
you purchased an open item and the disc is missing? Have you tried to
download drivers from http://www.logitech.com/
