hi everyone
I am trying to network my PC (as a host) with my laptop (as secondary), all drivers (cable modem and ethernet) are installed, but I cannot even start the Network wizard, as the laptop cannot connect to the Internet. The laptop's network connection dispalays a different IP address then the PC's. When trying to repair that connection I get a message that the IP address could not be updated.
Any idea please of what's going on
thanks a lot
carol

On the PC clcik START>My Network Places
choose Setup Home or Small Office Networ

Run the Wizard and choose the corrrect settings for your configuratio

Make sure that when it completes you select the option to create a Setup Dis

Take this floppy disk and run it on the Lapto

If you have completed this process crrectly, your Laptop will acces the internet and the PC

Make sure you start off from the PC as it would appear from your Posting that this has the internet access and not the Laptop.
