Please Help!

Everytime I try to open something on my control panel I get a mesage that
says Windows explorer has encounter a problem and needs to close and then my
taskbar goes away and comes back. The only thing I can open is add/remove
programs. I need some help. I f disked the hard drive and it still does this
Im getting agravated. Please Can any one help?

Did you fdisk and then reinstall windows? It's not possible to fdisk and
still have windows on the drive unless you didnt do anything with fdisk.
