Please Help with my Popup blocker problems

Just got a new Dell PC and all the sudden all popups are blcoked. I have
tried turning the popup blocker off thru the tools menu and tried turning it
on and adding websites that I want to see popups and nothing works - all
popups are blocked. I can't click on picutres on realestate sites and I
can't print postage thru Paypal I keep getting popup blocked messages at the
bottom of my screen. I did learn that I can hold the ctrl key down before I
click to stop the popup from being blocked but this is a pain and I don't
know why I am having this problem. I did not have the problem when I first
got my new pc. Not sure if it has something to do with ActiveX or not. Can
anyone please help - I have tried everything I know and looked everywhere for
help with no luck. Thanks.

i had a similar problem today when a popup was needed. i had a couple of
popup blockers installed which i had to uninstall.

if anything, clear your browers' cache, delete offline content, remove
cookies and remove all objects and files in internet explorer. close your
browser after that. i had to go so far as to having to hack my registry
(removing all entries of admuncher, which was the popup blocker i was using).


a good tool to erase your history in i.e. is to use microsoft's tracks
eraser which comes with the free download of ms's antispyware software.
