Unfortunately, there is no way to track MAC addresses (your laptop's hard
coded network card address) across the internet. Unless you installed a
tracking program that sits in the bootsector of the HD, you are out-of-luck.

Sorry no way to track it or locate it.
Check the local pawn shops.
Call the police make a report.
Call your local home owners insurance.
Get you a renters ins. policy for next time.
Get you a personal articles policy. (they are cheap, my daughter is a
student I have a PA policy on everything in her house and it cost $87 for 6
months) She dropped her cell phone in a water puddle and they replaced it no
