please help: autoselect window underneath pointer?

Hi All,

Can anyone offer advice on obtaining a program / customisation which will
automatically select the window currently underneath the mouse pointer -
Without clicking.
I've searched endlessly - no luck.

The reason for this is I have to copy & paste hundreds of chunks of text
from one app to another and could do so much quicker if this was possible..

See the X-Mouse settings
Check the boxes labeled:
"Activation follows mouse"
"Autoraise when activating"
