playing mp3 files in looping presentation

Hello. I have a slideshow that loops indefinitely. I would like to play
mp3 files located in a folder during the slideshow. The order of the music
is not important, it could be random. The key would be to ensure that when
the slideshow reaches slide 1 again, the music continues to play without
restarting. How can this be done? (PPT 2003). Thank you.
 
Thank you for your reply. I was able to create two custom shows: my main
presentation and a second show which is the introduction that loops with
music playing as people gather in the room. I added the music to the 1st
slide in the main presentation, and hyperlinked to the second show which
loops. All works beautifully, with one small thing I would like to correct.

While the second show is looping, and music is playing, to end the second
show and return to the main show, I press escape. This returns me to slide
1 of main show, but the music continues to play, until I move to slide 2.
Is there a way to make the music end with the escape that ends the second
show? Thank you.
