Music in Power Point

I have made a Power Point Slide show and added background music in .mp3
format, which plays in the slideshow on the original Vista system. When
playing the same slideshow in either the .pptx, or .ppt or .pps format on my
XP system, everything works but the music. How can I get everything to
transfer? Sound effects do work in another Slideshow made on the Vista and
played on the XP.

Hi Terry

Yeah, mp3s are linked not embedded (only wavs can be embedded) so you have
to make sure the sound files are moved with the presentation. For more info
