Playing clips

I am unable to play my movie clips by clicking the play clip option when I
secondary mouse click the clips in the left pane. Would anyone be ablt to
tell me why? However I can play the clips when I place them on the storyboard
at the bottom of the screen.

It's possible that the clips are not fully compatible with MM, see this page
