Pixels - Windows XP

my pixels are set to a low resolution and I am unable to view web pages
correctly & play games etc. When I try to alter the pixels the sliding bar
is stuck and wont move so I cannot alter the screen resolution. I have tried
troubleshooting but it doesnt seem to help. HELP !

Find the make and model of the graphics card. Go to the manufacturers web
site and find the latest driver for your card. Make a system restore point
before installing, just in case.

You need to reinstall your video card drivers. Get them from either the
device mftr.'s website or from the OEM's website if you have that sort
of machine (Dell, Sony, etc.).

If reinstalling the drivers doesn't help, then the card may be bad.
Since you haven't given us any details about your computer, that's as
specific as I can get. If you think the card may be bad, swap it out
for a known-working one.

On Display - Settings click Advanced. The Monitor page (which probably
does not show the proper monitor, but don't worry) uncheck 'Hide Modes
the monitor cannot display. Then the Adapter page, click 'List all
modes'. and select, It is entirely up to you not to bust the monitor
by overdoing it, so read its manual, and start at a conservatively low
setting
