I just bought my girlfriend a recondition cpu with windows
2000. This was purchased from a store not a private
seller. My question is does windows still have to be
registered to the curent user? Nothing came up when
starting cpu and have been haveing trouble with windows
updates. thanks for any help you can give me
 
If you have media then you would be the owner of the software. What kind of
problems are you having with the updates?
