Pioneer DVR-A04 and Win XPpro problem,

after a clean instalation of XP PRO my DVD burner is not
working properly. I can see it in Explorer and Device
Manager recognases it as Pioneer DVR, but if I try to read
from it my computer freezes. Any ideas?

It might be the dvd/cd you are trying to read is scratched
or something. Also you should get the specific drivers for
your DVD-burner from the pioneers website. Windows xp
drivers dont always work.
