Pinball Full Screen

I receive a warning notice when trying to switch to full-
screen mode in the 3D Pinball game. The warning basically
states that Screen Resolution needs to be set at
1920x1200. The Screen Resolution is set at 1920x1200.
Why won't 3D Pinball go into full-screen mode? I'm using
Windows XP Home on a brand new Dell Laptop.

try setting screen to 800x600 medium (16-bit) color
pick pinball game....pick F4 key.
it is really only half screen should appear.
