Pinball problem

I enjoy playing the Windows xp pinball game. Lately I have a problem with
the flippers. They only operate with weaker speed, making in difficult to
control where to flip the ball. It appears this problem arises when I
switch the game to a full screen mode. I noticed that this problem is not
unique to only my computer. The same flipper problem existed in computers in
our public library. Your help would be greatly appreciated

Ehm, have you ever tried a cheat code found in pinball?

It's so cool! You use the mouse, never a keyboard!

If you are unsure abt the cheat code, let me tell you.

1. Open Pinball in windowed mode (not full-screen!)
2. Don't start straightaway. Type:
hidden (space) test (enter)

And bravo! You can use the mouse to play pinball!
Oh, and the mouse controls the ball itself.
