Hi, Before I load Microsoft Picture It! photo Ver.7 -no other description on
it-it is an older one I used with my windows ME PC, I wondered if anyone knew
if it would load properly on an XP SP2 Med. Ed. 2005? The part # on the disc
is X08-83106. (although the sticker on the packaging says X08-83104). There
is no application use on the box or guide. Thanks in advance for any info.
Good Day, Dan

PIP7 should run correctly on WinXP.

Before installing new software...
it's best if you disconnect from the
net and close all programs especially
virus scanners. Also create a System
Restore Point. Finally, if you have an
HP OfficeJet...turn it off...now install
PIP7.

These and other install tips are in a
readme file on the PIP7 install disk.

Thank you for your reply. I'm still debating whether to risk it,( I have bad luck with PC's). Seems a straight Yes or No from Microsoft should not cost $35 though! When I first got this PC I saw all the picture/photo option icons on the screen, little did I realize that they are all just picture services to sell photo's, not ones that allow "adjusting and copying pictures to PC Files! Oh well. Good Evening! Dan

I doubt that anyone would *guarantee* you
that you could successfully install and run
any program. However...as I told you...PIP7
should run successfully on WinXP...I have
personally been running version 7 and several
other versions on XP since it was first released.

If you wish to call MS Support...and if you have
a full retail version of PIP7...here's how:

For E-mail and /or Phone Support...
try the link below and choose:

1) Choose your country (click the arrow)
2) Contact a support professional by phone or e-mail
3) Scroll down to...Photos and Publishing / More Photos...
4) Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006
