Physical Dump of memory

Hello i am having a Siemens p4 notebook with 1.8 mhz and win xp pro on
it.
Sometimes when i work with some complicated programs my system is
showing physical dump of memory error message in a plaine black screen
and restarting automatically. can any one tell why this happens...
