PHP Scripts?

I run some web sites and on at lest one of them I'd like to add some of the
stuff the host has that's useable.
Trouble is the host SELLS their php scripts, so while I might end up having
to buy that, I was wondering if there is a free sorce of php scripts? And I
know knowing about php useage.

the main site is www.starlords.org and there's e-mail, bog, BB and a few
other things I'd like to tie into the pages.
