Photo Printing Wizard has disappeared?

For some reason, the Print task has disappeared from the side menu in My
Pixtures and I don't know how to get it back? Can anybody please tell me how
to get this task back into the side menu and make the Photo Printing Wizard
available again? And before anyone asks, yes I have switched from folders to
common tasks! I might be dumb - but I'm not that dumb! lol.

Also if I just right click on a photo and choose print from the right
context menu, Windows Installer asks me to insert the disk with Word 2000 on
it!!! Now surely that is dumb?!! lol

However, if I first PREVIEW the photo in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and
then click the print icon under the previewed picture, the Photo Printing
Wizard does start and works as it always used to eg: bringing up all the pics
in that folder, so that you can tick all those you want to print etc. etc.
But I want it on the side menu so I don't have to preview a pic before I can
use it.

I think I have found the answer myself now on
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_p.htm - in an article called Enable
Picture and Fax Viewer! First I typed in the "To get a new copy" line (see
below) and just to make sure, I reloaded the dll as described. And just to
make doubly sure, I then went into folder options and changed all picture
file types so that they open with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. And hey
presto! As if by magic, the print task has returned to the side menu and when
I click on it the Photo Printing Wizard now opens again! Hooray!

Go to Start/Run and type: regsvr32 shimgvw.dll or regsvr32 /i shimgvw.dll

To get a new copy: EXPAND X:\i386\shimgvw.dl_C:\Windows\system32\shimgvw.dll

If you disabled the fax/picture viewer by using regsvr32 /u shimgvw.dll,
then changing user icons fail to work: You need to re-load the dll and it
will work. Have only tried this w/ XP Pro. Reload by typing in regsvr32
shimgvw.dll.

PS
Now you know why my signature is:
"Why is it always so hard to find the information you need on the Microsoft
site?!!"
Reply: I don't know but it always is! Because yet again I had to go to a
non-Microsoft site to actually find the solution to my problem!
