Can anyone recommend the best / economical package for editing photos (j.peg).

Picasa is pretty good and a free download.

Irfanview.

Picassa.

All free

Gimp's probably the most detailed, Irfanview probably the easiest to use.

Or you can pay about £600.00 for the latest version of Photoshop
