Phantom sound on my comp!!

This morning when i booted up, i heard a recurring DRUM ROLL coming thru the
speakers, not sure where it came from, but how do i find it to turn it off??
It keeps playing even with other audio going.......very annoying!!!

I had that problem after my hamster took drum lessons. They only way I
sorted it out was to restrict him from the computer room. Now, he and his
friends have formed a band, and have to practice in the garage.

look for and shutdown other apps that may be using sound card!!
