Pexit, a new multi-protocol IM client

I just heard about an app called Pexit ( http://www.pexit.com )
recently and have been playing around with it. It's pretty solid and
it supports all the protocols that Trillian does, but it also has
extra stuff like file-sharing and whiteboards.

It also has a cool feature whre you can setup a multi-protocol chat
room, and you can have people from different protocols chatting
together through you. So, for example, you can have someone on IRC
talking to you and someone on say MSN or ICQ. Pretty cool, IMHO.

It is pretty cool but only 2 drawbacks:

1. unlike easy message (and maybe trillian or miranda) doesn't check pop
accounts (very useful)
2. can't have multiple Yahoo, ICQ, AIM, or MSN accounts (at least that I
could figure out).

Spookily enough Ben Cosby posted a similar message here yesterday.
He also posted from Google.
He also had a webmail addy that ended in 1974, in his case a hotmail
one.
The really spooky thing is that he also had your NNTP posting host.

I think he means: "don't use this, it's spyware"
