personal web server

Hi. I was installing Microsoft Office 2000 on my new computer with win xp
home sp2. I got an error message about the computer not being able to
configure Personal Web Server. I think I remember earlier posts saying
Personal Web Server not working with win xp, or there was a backdoor way to
install it. Any one with help or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
