PWS on XP Home problems

Hi everybody,

I tried to install MS Personal Web Server into my computer, in which XP Home
Edition was installed. After installing and configurating , I could see
nothing from IE.

The PWS run well in my previous computer, which was running MS Windows ME.
Is there any restraint running PWS in XP Home Edition platform?

Please help!

If you don't mind something that involves some work then Apache is free from

Too bad that answers NONE of the OP's question!

The answer is: Yes, there is a restraint on Home running PWS. The
restraint is this: XP Home does not support PWS (well, neither does
Pro for that matter) or the full IIS package. To do any web stuff,
you'll need to move to XP Pro and install IIS.
