I recently had to reload 2000 Server. Can anyone tell me
how to restore the personal settings on the workstations?
The workstations were otherwise unaffected. Thank you!

The best answer is "using backup". But you can also try
this:
Go to the "Documents and settings" folder, find the
original (old) user profile and the corresponding new one.
Copy needed files (like browser bookmarks or My Documents
folder) to the new profile.
