I have installed, removed and reinstalled this Microsoft
tool and still the Backup command line under File in
Outlook does not show up so I can't set the program up. I
am running Outlook 2003 on XP Professional.

Did you close and restart Outlook after installing?

Hi Brian, Jim

Same thing happened to me - had it working under Outlook
2003 and XP Pro, had some other file problems and it
dissappeared. Have been through everything that Jim has
done without any luck.

The add-in may not be registered correctly. So, try registering the dll with
the following steps.

1. Exit Outlook.
2. On the Start menu click Run
3. In the Open box type the following and click OK.

regsvr32 "c:\program files\microsoft office\office\addins\outbak.dll"

NOTE: You may need to adjust the above path to Outbak.dll to match the
location on your computer.

4. After running the command line start Outlook.
- The above frm an earlier post -
