Permissions with Outlook Views

Hi Everyone,

I'm having a problem with people moving tasks in views (click and drag) which effectively changes the information in them. AKA moving a a task from list client: Bob to client: Bill changes the task information for client to Bill. As we use tasks for scheduling and job tracking, this is very, very bad.

Is there a way to lock tasks views so tasks can't be dragged and dropped into different lists, but still give that same user edit permissions to the task information itself?? I haven't been able to find anything. Any help would be great :)

John.

Permissions are Folder level so apart from educating your team on how they
are supposed to use the system, you could have a Folder for each team
members' Tasks and then set appropriate permissions.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
