My PC is making a noise like sewing machine when it boots for 4 or 5
minutes and then the noise disappears
Is it possible that my C drive is on its way out and is causing probs?
I have 2 hdds

Is it a Singer ?

If not, it's probably your Power supply - swap it out for a known
good one .

That is almost always the symptom of a failing fan. It may be any one of
several. Possibilities are: power supply, CPU, video card, motherboard
chiset, extra case fans, etc. You'll have to determine which fan is going
and replace it.

Chances are its a cpu fan or a power supply fan that needs a cleaning.
