Nod keeps loosing my reg details

Hello
Recently, every few days at boot up, nod needs me to re-instate my
registration details

My PC is making a noise like sewing machine when it boots for 4 or 5
minutes and then the noise disappears
Is it possible that my C drive is on its way out and is causing probs?
I have 2 hdds

I just replaced a HD. Was getting bluecreens for a couple of days, prior
to the failure. Luckily, I had an image saved from just 2 weeks ago. You
may want to consider imaging your drive, or backing up key data before
the inevitable happens. Never a good sign when you get noise from the drive.

I did not say *any* noise, although I was vague. I was referring to the
unusual noise the OP noticed; like a sewing machine. There is no noise
spec, as far as I know, for HDs. If you think the noise on your drive
has increased over time, that's a warning sign.
