Recently I had installed a pc game call "Tien" in my computer running XP
When I execute the game a massage pop up " Error in InitRender() ...
Shutting down". What could have happen ? How can I solve this problem ?
I have no problem playing this game in win98.
The game is obviously extremely old and does not work in XP. Uninstall it.
Your choices:
1. Check with the game mftr.'s tech support (if still available) to see how
to make this game work with XP - upgrades, patches, workarounds, etc.
2. If #1 doesn't work, try installing/running the game in Compatibility
Mode. Put "Compatibility Mode" into XP's Help & Support for details.
3. If #2 doesn't work, you can't run this game natively in XP. Depending on
whether the game requires 3D graphics, you may be able to run it in a
virtual machine running Win98. You would need to create the virtual machine
in either Virtual PC 2007 (free) or VMware (not free). Google for those
products for more information.
