PC Freezing

I have a PC that sometime freeze when recieving fax.
I use Windows XP fax console.
Do somebody have an idea or suggestion about what could the cause of this
problem?

It could be your phone lines are receiving excessive use. Have a friend
fax you a sample and see what happens. Also, time of day can make a lot
of difference.
