pc does not logon

When the logon box appears a msg comes up saying
Lsass.exe error "specified network did not exist" u can
still do ctrl-alt-del but when u enter the password and
try to logon it just hangs there , if u press "ok" on the
error msg it reboots the pc. It looks like a virus but I
have looked on Mcafee and nortons to no avail. Any
suggestions ?
