logon problem to Small Bus Server 2003

I have a client pc that was on a network, when I moved it to a new location,
it won't get recognized by the server to logon with passwords as before.
Background -
When I try to a network logon this message window appears.
" windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller
is down, or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account was not
found. Etc."
If I start the Pc without the network cable connected, I can logon locally.
After it boots completely, I can reconnect the network cable & the network
connection will come up & function normally. Network controls indicate the
connection is good & functional.
If I try to logon another user with it is still connected, it won't get
recognized by the server when connected. Same error messge pops up again.
With it running & connected to the network I even tried to connect by remote
desktop & get the same error message as above.
It appears that something in the initial logon process has gone bad. Any
suggestions or where I can locate tech articles ??????

The first thing to check is DNS - the client must be set up to use only the
domain DNS server to log in. The reason you can log in with the cable
disconnected is because you're using cached logons at that point.

Before you moved the computer was it on the same network? Was it joined to
this domain or a different domain or any domain?

Your post is a bit unclear.

What network was it on, and what is the 'new location' ?

Did you properly join the computer to the SBS domain (you have to use the
wizards....) and does the computer currently have network access to the SBS
server or whatever domain controller you're trying to access?
