I have often used PC Chips 810LMR boards with Duron 1300 chips to build
simple cheap and stable machines. Never a problem.
The manufacturer says these boards support 1800 chips (and higher) but I
have had nothing but trouble. Sometimes they boot fine but quite often the
fans start and everything seems great but they don't get to the POST screen.
I have toswitch off at the mains and try again.
The boards and chips were bought bundled together so you would expect them
to work with a degree of stability
Anyone else come across this and is there a cure?
