pc acting up

hello, When I was using my computer yesterday it seemed to "freeze up", so i
turned it off by holding down the power button like the manual said... I let
it sit for about 5 minutes, when i turned it back on the fan starts up(sounds
like its running real fast) the monitor doesn't turn on(light stays orange)
nor does the keyboard seem to work.. the hd light is constantly orange no
flickers...no beeps or weird sounds.. any idea what could be wrong...any help

Not really enough to go on here. Does it start up with a boot disk or CD? Is
the processor fan still working (the cpu may be overheating), Is the hard
disk spinning up? Are all of the cables connected properly
