Hi all, anyone have an idea about this one??
I've been getting a strange problem at login time on
Windows XP pro, on both machines i use:
After entering credentials (NOT using welcome screen) the
loading of Windows xp Pro pauses after playing startup
sound. Pressing Enter resumes the loading process, and all
is well.
As mentioned, this is happening to me on 2 very different
machines.
I've tried removing all entries for "Run" key, doesn't
seem to permanently solve problem...

Things that are loading include:
BTTray (Bluetooth)
SoundMAX taskbar applet
Messenger 4.3
WinAmp agent
1st quikres lite
ATI system icon.

Anyone got any ideas? Anyone had this problem and NOT hve
any ideas?

Appreciate any help you can give!

"1st quickres lite" - what is that? Sounds like some sort of display
program. Lose it. You can also stop the ATI system icon from starting,
although that isn't the reason for the slowness. I wouldn't have any of
those things start except the Bluetooth thing, unless you don't have
any Bluetooth devices.
