I am running windows XP SP2 for a year or so and suddenly a strange
problem have occured.

When I start my computer and after all the startup logos etc, the
normal windows login dialog is displayed. If I then enter the username
and password and press enter the computer continues to startup as
normal and the desktop background image is displyed but my desktop
icons are not displayed, the cursor icon changes to the idle icon and
nothing happens.
I now have to press enter/return for the desktop icons to be fully
displayed (all icons, start button, taskbar etc are directly displayed
after pressing enter/return).


Anyone knows what is going on?

Does it not refresh on its own after a waiting without hitting the enter
key? Either way, try line 204:
