Hello all

have a bit of a problem when doing a paste link from excel
I'm working on screen resolution 1280 by 1024 and I have created a word doc with a link to an excel pivot table
On my screen this shows perfectly. However, when my colleagues open the word doc (most of them work on 800 by 600) the link to excel doesn't show entirely on the doc.

What can I do to fix this

there probably isn't anything you can do, short of asking them to open the link in order to view the pivot table in Excel.

If this kind of thing happens to you often, you may need to set your screen resolution to the same that others use so that you see what they'll be seeing...

You only other option would probably be to deliver a static picture. Try selecting the object, then pressing Ctrl+Shift+F9 to break the link. If that doesn't help, copy, then Edit/Paste Special and paste as a "Word picture".

Hi Jan,

Ordinarily, the page 'image' shouldn't be affected by a change in screen
resolution. Are you/they sure they've got the full page width displayed?
