password protected compressed (Zip) folder

Hello all,

I have some .ZIP files that are password protected. I have the password for
the .ZIP files, the problem is, the zip files are created in Japanese, and
the passwords, as far as I understand, is in hiragana (A form of Japanese
writting).

I have tried to copy and paste the Japanese password into the ZIP file when
I was prompted for the password, but to no avail. I know the password is
correct, it's just in Japanese).

Have I missed anything? Do I need an XP in Japanese? Other tool?

I am running an English version of Winodws XP.

Frank, that question is pretty exotic for this group. Would suggest you try
your question in a Japanese newsgroup, if you speak Japanese.
