password prompt

Every time I open Outlook, I'm being prompted for a password. This is
happening even after I placed a check mark in the "Remember my password" box.
How can I corect this behavior?

A couple of questions, is this your work computer or home? What version of Outlook are you using?

A couple of possibilities, this can happen if you changed your password remotely (using VPN or OWA) and the network password is not synched with your local system password.

Next if the Security option is checked in the Outlook profile to always prompt for password is enabled.

I'm using Outlook 2003, which connects to Exchange Server 2003. Also, I have
verified that the "always prompt for password" option is not checked.

Have you recently changed your network password at work? As mentioned earlier if your network password is not synched with your local pasword it will cause for the password to prompt.

Also did you check with your IT department to check your account
