password on reinstall

I had to reinstall XP now when I boot XP has username as "Administrator" &
prompts for a password. Don't believe this is a bios issue but a windows
issue. Any thoughts? Thanks

Do you know the password, is it just blank & if you press the return key or
click on OK can you login.??

If you can then go to "users" in control panel & create an account name you
want to use.

You could try this http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/ you can reset the
password (make it blank) then you can login and create a user & set a
password for the accounts.
