password on reinstall

I had to reinstall XP now when I boot XP has username as "Administrator" &
prompts for a password. Don't believe this is a bios issue but a windows
issue. It did not accept "password" or "blank" Any thoughts? Thanks
 
By default Xp created an user called administrator, that is the first user
after clean install or when you buy a new computer with the os installed..Now
you need to create another administrator (different name) account and the
first account is going to desapear(be hidden), only you can access this
account by safe mode..
 
The administrator account will disappear when another account is created but
it depends if you have Home or Pro whether the administrator account is
accessible only in safemode.
Home = safemode only
Pro = can be accessed in normal mode.
