when I restart windows a message pops up with my user name and asks for a
password but I don't need one to start how can I stop this message from
appearing?

Go to Start -> Run. In the "Open" box type control
userpasswords2.
Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this
computer". In the box that pops up enter your user name and
password.

Thank you but it comes as saying wrong command check spelling I did and nothing

thank you very much that did it. What do you know about cd-rw not burning,
getting a message from a diagnostic check saying "device cannot be accessed
possibly medium missing"

I've never come across that error message so I can't give you a
real solid solution.
If you're using a 3rd party CD burning program check their web
site for help on this issue.
You might also want to check the web site of the company that
manufactured your burner.
Try using a different brand of CD's . I've found some brands work
better than others.

Good luck
