Password manager - how to change a password

Sheila

I typed in the wrong password to connect to my email provider and let Windows
password manager remember it. Now I can't connect. How do I get Windows
password manager to let me change the password to the correct one?

I can't even find out how to access the password manager. I'm using Windows
XP Pro service pack 2.

Thanks for any help!

Try internet options,delete cookies,delete off-line files,delete browsing
history.
Also, open user accounts, select "change .NET password" the option to change
with windows,also change.Otherwise,create a new user & change log-in.

Thank you! This worked and I was able to re-enter my password (correctly
this time) and can now access my email.

I did download and install this, but it only showed me my Windows CD key. I
didn't see where I could delete passwords. However, Andrew's method did
work and I was able to re-enter my password.

I must have missed something in the keyfinder program?
