I would like to edit my registry so when my computer
starts up it will by pass the password login page. I want
to start computer and it stop loading when the desktop is
loaded. I don't want to have to type in the password.
This would be for windows 2000 pro and 2000 server.
Thanks for your help.

Hi

Some registry edits will enable AutoLogon for NT4/Win2k/WinXP:

If you use TweakUI to configure autologon the password is encrypted in the
registry, more here:

Using Autologon on a Server is a severe security breach in most
environments. It bypasses a basic security mechanism on workstations
too. But I suppose you already realize this.

If there is a specific problem such as making something run other than
"at logon", perhaps alternate, more secure solutions exist...
