Password is Blank

When I try yo publish my website I enter the username, and
password, and press ok, the system clears out the password
and askes for it again.

I am sure it is correct as I use to use it and I can also
currently ftp to the website.

I have tried many things but seem to be stuch, is ther any
known bugs?

Check with your host, as the FP and FTP logins/passwords can be different,
since they use to different server for access.
