Just went from XP (Outlook Express) to Vista....Email works fine, but simply
opens when I click on it. I would like to keep my email private, and
utilize a password. How come it does not ask for one, and how do I add
this?

The only way to do it is to create (& use) different Vista user accounts for
each person.

Outlook Express had password-protected "identities". They gave a
false sense of security because anyone with access to your PC
could open your mail files. Vista, being all about *real* security,
did away with Identities. If you share your PC with others and need
mail privacy, you should have your own Windows user login, and
when you are done using the PC, use the Switch User function.
