Have just installed xp pro and in trying to configure my laptop to the
network I inadvertently typed in a user name and password somewhere. Now I
can't recall the password and am denied access when I try to boot the
computer. How can I bypass the login and password screen so that I can
correct this mistake?

seems 2me u'll have to reinstall the whole thing thru boot-cd , u cant
"bypass" login screen in xp....
Just put your boot cd in drive, reinstall win xp and then remember your
passw;)
hope this helps....
