Partition Problems???

K

Kamal

I have just merged two ntfs partitions together using partition magic. It
backed up all the files on my second partition to C:\Backup of D.

Now I am unable to delete the Backup of D cos it contains the System Volume
Information folder from my second partition.

Anyone have any ideas on how i can delete C:\Backup of D\System Volume
Information\

I keep getting access denied when I try to delete C:\Backup of D\System
Volume Information\

Thank you.

First take ownership of the "System Volume Information Folder".
After taking ownership, turn off system restore. Reboot and turn on
system restore again.

By the way, consider yourself lucky that the NTFS partition merge did
not cause any other problems. In the future, do not use this option
as it has been reported to be unreliable.
