Paper Recommendations?

I have a Canon BJC-3000 color printer. I'd like to use this to print sales
flyers, etc., but I think the results look flat and dull. Is that a
limitation of inkjets in general, or should I be using better paper? I
suspect so, hence the title of this post. I don't want to use photo paper,
because I don't want the weight, nor the high gloss, but there must be
something better than the HP general purpose paper I use now. Suggestions?

Here are some sites were you can get some very nice papers to expand your
horizons. They all have sample packs too. When you get done with these, you
will be a quite accomplished printer. ;-) Dave
